I was browsing my albums and have seen my pictures in Quezon Island.I have reminisces those moments with a smile, it was a year ago yet it was a great experience for me that can be cherished for a lifetime. Hundred Islands was truly an awesome gift of nature. I was mesmerized with the natural beauty of the islets laid on the azure seawater. Reaching Alaminos Pangasinan was almost 5 hours trip from Manila. We left Manila at 12 am and reach Alaminos at 6 am.It seems there's a Fiesta celebration in the Alaminos wharf with its festive ambiance. With all those buntings around and vendors selling ready to wear tees, shorts, and swimwears. I have bought a pair of shorts for swimming coz I have a feeling that I could not resist the beach with the summer sun rising up with its glorious shine. With a Php20 entrance fee and 30 minutes motorboat ride we have reach Quezon Island, its the second largest Island in the park next to Governor's Island where the Pinoy Big Brother guest house was located. Quezon Island has a sloppy structure with plaintiffs above the rocky hill. With two neighboring islets that were connected with bamboo made bridge. Ithas two pavillions and a grilling areas with cottages for picnic and overnight stay.We choosed the cottage near the static monument of Manuel L Quezon. I could not wait to explore the sorroundings, and have reached the highest point of the island where we have seen the breathtaking views of the Park. It was so amazing! truly a gift of nature. I was so busy taking pictures and even forget to think about lunch:) We take pictures with the artfully sculpted two mermaids, we give them names "Marina & Dyesebel".
Quezon Island is the frequently visited Island in the Park because of its amenities that assures comfort for relaxation. With its two dining pavilions where you can choose delectable meals that will satisfy your hunger, nipa huts for day tour and overnight stay, grilling areas, comfort rooms. And we can swim on its crystal clear water that has a white powdery sands. Right after our lunch I plunged on the irrisitable water, it was so refreshing. We agreed to take island hopping so we can visit the other islands around but unfortunately we dont have enough time because we need to be back in the wharf by 3pm, we'll be heading to Baguio and need to reach there before dinner time. We just drop by in Governor's Island to take a glance on the Pinoy Big Brother guest house. It was a great experience but Im hoping to get back there someday to explore the other islands. There are twenty one islands that has beach area. And I have heard that a must see islands are Marcos Islands where the wonderful Imelda Cave lies, Cuenco Island, Children's Island, Lopez Island and Monkey Island. The Hundred Islands Park is one of the spots that we Fiipinos should be proud of.
